我的坐标，我的足迹，定义今天独一无二的我。
以心为原点，视野和经历编织经纬，我尝试着勾描出，那些我来时的路，我渴望去往的地方，我精神的故乡。
东西方交汇的背景里，我结识世界，亦回溯源流，在异与同的碰撞里追寻自我心灵的属地。
在那里，故乡与此乡分享同一场日出同一捧月光。
因此我永远期待，与多元视角的共生，与精神共鸣的邂逅，与文化血脉的叙旧。
而我同样期待遇见，你的足迹，你的故事。
My position and my footprints define who I am today.
Starting from my heart, with my outlook and experience interwoven, I try to outline the roads I took, the places I wish to go and the homeland of my spirit.
Behind where the Eastern and Western worlds meet, I not only become familiar with the world but I also begin to trace back to my origin and seek my spiritual territory amidst a marsh of differences and similarities. There, both my hometowns share the same sunrise and moonlight. For this reason, I always look forward to the mutual interactions between multiple perspectives, to the encounter of communing spirits and to the reminiscing of cultural roots.
Yet I also look forward to our encounter, your footprints and your story.

CHIN143，243是UBC亚洲系开设的中文课程。一系列课堂活动鼓励同学们以华裔身份追溯文化血脉的源流，体验多元融合的文化，探索个人与世界的联结，从而定义独特的自我。今天，这里汇聚了学生们优秀的期末作品。就请跟紧大家的脚步，一起听他们娓娓道来。
CHIN143 and CHIN243 are Chinese language courses offered by UBC’s Asian Studies department. A series of classroom activities has encouraged heritage students to trace back the origins of their cultural identity, experience the diverse cultures surrounding them, explore their connection to the world, and define their unique identity. Today, students from both classes have presented their outstanding final projects. Please follow their footsteps and listen closely to what they want to say.
